About This Training
Overview:
This two-day training will equip organizers to develop and launch organizing plans that meet our political moment through 1) building and leveraging real power towards winning local campaigns (aligned with state and national organizing strategies where possible) and 2) launching teams into organizing missions with real on-ramps into strategic action to develop leaders and scale our leadership bases.
Purpose:
This training is designed for organizers who have recruited and tested leaders and who have some sense of the primary issue area and political terrain they are trying to impact. The ideal participant also has an appetite to align their local organizing with statewide and multi-state strategies to impact federal policy and political conditions.
Outcomes:
Participants will hone their capacity to develop a strategic campaign that capitalizes on the energy of our current political moment, builds real power towards a proactive local campaign “win”, and (ideally) helps generate public attention…
